Welcome to Homebody Creative Kids! Below is a list of services provided. I'm excited to offer future parents, parents, grandparents, and caregivers an opportunity to create kid-friendly spaces that support their families best. From nurseries to playrooms to dorms, I am happy to help!

Are you looking for a few suggestions from someone with a designer's eye? Has your sweet baby grown into an adventurous toddler, and you need make some quick adjustments? Are you revamping your playroom but want to know if your ideas would be worth it as they age? This option is for you!

 

For remote clients: You will be provided with a client questionnaire, a template for measurements and photography, a design board, and a preliminary clickable shopping list. 

 

For local clients: You will be provided with a client questionnaire, a home visit for measurements and photography, a design board, and a preliminary clickable shopping list. 

This consultation will require you to complete and submit our design questionnaire and measurements and photography template prior to booking.

Accessorizing
your space

Nationwide - US

Are you looking for a designer to pull your existing home goods together into a more cohesive and functional design? Do you a child who is begging to have more character themed items in their space? Maybe Bluey, perhaps? Do you have a college freshman who could use some help dressing up their twin-sized bed and concrete walls? This is the plan for you! After establishing a budget, Homebody Creative Kids will curate and supply all the accessories needed for your child(ren) or young adult’s room.

 

You will receive a design board, clickable shopping list, recommendations for installation, safety recommendations, and more. Accessories only include: artwork, accessories, lamps, window treatments and wall dressings, and paint color.

 

For local clients, any accessories ordered through H.C. Kids will be followed up with a visit to your home to advise on installation, furniture placement, and safety measures.

Example rooms include: nurseries, living rooms/dens, bedrooms, playrooms, dorms, and similar.

E-Design


Nationwide - US

Are you welcoming a precious little one to your family soon and need to create a nursery ASAP? Are you looking to redo your playroom but need a designer to do the initial planning? Are you outside of Metro Detroit but would love to work with a dedicated kids' designer? This plan is for you! This option is for those that would prefer to work with a limited budget, would love to complete the project at their own pace, take pride in accomplishing a few DIY tasks, and only need remote support.

 

You will receive a design questionnaire, a template for measurements and photography, a custom floor plan, a digital design board, a clickable shopping list, installation recommendations, communication with the designer, safety recommendations, and design revisions.

For local clients, any accessories ordered through H.C. Kids can be followed up with a visit to your home to advise on installation, furniture placement, and safety measures.

The process takes about 3-4 weeks to complete, where you will receive a final personalized plan.

Metro Detroit Area

Are you expanding your family in the next few months but clueless on how to accommodate them? Did you just move into a new home and have a clean slate full of fun possibilities? Has the transition from middle to high school created a brand new, more mature child who needs a mature space? This plan is for you! This option is best for those who would like to start fresh and might even need installations by a local contractor.

 

You will receive a support from the initial concept to the completion, including:

1. An initial in-person consultation with measurements and photography

2. A floorplan for review

3. A design board or 3D rendering of your proposed space

4. A furniture plan with orders, procurement, and logistics done by the designer

5. Coordination with contractions, deliveries, and tradesman

6. Accessorizing and Finishing touch
